FUTURE LEADERS

Threshold Girls in STEM HealthLab creates pathways for girls to explore, learn, and lead in medical technology and healthcare innovation. We believe that diverse perspectives in STEM and MedTech strengthen innovation and improve health outcomes for all communities.

Our program provides hands-on experience, mentorship, and industry exposure designed to help girls build confidence and skills in emerging technologies, biomedical engineering, robotics and healthcare systems. We connect participants with professionals, real-world projects, and opportunities to see themselves as future innovators and leaders in medical technology.

As founder and executive director, I guide girls through a transformative journey that combines technical learning with leadership development, helping them understand how their work in STEM and health can drive meaningful impact.

I bring my 20+ years of experience in systems design and manufacturing, workforce development, and healthcare innovation to create a program that prepares the next generation of women leaders in MedTech.

Become a Founding Sponsor

Threshold Girls in STEM HealthLab - a forthcoming nonprofit program under the Threshold Praxis brand, is seeking founding sponsors to fund biomedical STEM kits and health tech equipment for our inaugural cohort. We’re raising $25,000 to equip 20 middle and high school girls with real engineering tools and hands-on experience in medicine and health innovation. Every kit puts real biomedical instruments into the hands of a future engineer, physician, or healthcare innovator.

Founding sponsors will be recognized as the original supporters who made the program possible, and their contributions will directly stock the lab that introduces the next generation of women to careers in biomedical engineering and healthcare.
